Disability Support Worker - Casual

Location - Swan Hill VIC



About the role

You will be working in the family home providing care on a 2:1 basis with other support workers.

This is a casual position with regular ongoing hours of 24-30 hours per week for successful applicants.


About our client

Male client in his late 20's living with his family in Swan Hill. He has Cerebral Palsy and requires complex care supports 24/7.


Shifts

This opportunity offers 6-hour & 8-hour shifts across a rotating roster 24 hours, 7 days a week.

You must be able to work a minimum of 2 overnight shifts (12 am to 8am) per week and have availability for other day shifts, weekdays, weekends and Public Holidays.


About you

It does not matter if you have limited or no experience in this type of role. What does matter is that you are willing to learn, are reliable and trustworthy, and a team player.


Compliance requirements

Your will need to have or obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:


  1. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

  2. NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

  3. Current First Aid certificate

  4. Current CPR certificate

  5. 2 references from prior and/or current employers


Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
