Disability Support Worker - Casual
Location - Wodonga VIC
About the role
Female support worker required to provide support with after school routines including work on math's and literacy and other activities as required, and with personal care, inclusive of showering. You will be working in the family homes in Wodonga and Rutherglen.
About our client
Our 14-year-old female client with Cerebral Palsy lives with her family in Wodonga and enjoys crafts, reading and music.
Shifts
Monday to Friday from 3:15pm- 6:15pm
Weekend shift fortnightly on Saturday or Sunday
NB: A Support Worker with some flexibility in availability would be great as our client often attends medical appointments at the RCH in Melbourne, and a SW accompanies her.
About you
You will be a female support worker with a mature attitude and experience in complex care supports such as:
Epilepsy/seizure management
PEG feeding and suctioning
Medication administration
Compliance requirements
You will have or be willing to obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
Current First Aid certificate
Current CPR certificate
2 references from prior and/or current employers
Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
