Disability Support Worker - Casual

About the role
Support worker required to accompany our client on a return trip to Sydney for a Hillsong Church conference.
About our client
Our male client in his 40’s with Cerebral Palsy, living in his home in Heidelberg, enjoys sport (especially AFL and Boccia) and is very involved with the church. He is looking for support workers who share his sense of humour!
Shifts
Shifts will begin in his home prior to the trip to allow you to become familiar with his routine, with the guidance of his regular support workers.
Return trip to Sydney for a Hillsong Church conference, 7th - 11th July inclusive.
About you
You need to be at least 25 years and have an open/full license, as our client is hiring a wheelchair accessible van for the trip. Experience in complex care and manual handling are essential. A manual hoist will be used throughout the trip, with 2:1 support for all transfers.
Compliance requirements
Your will need to have or obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
Current First Aid certificate
Current CPR certificate
2 references from prior and/or current employers
Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
