Disability Support Worker - Casual
Location - Moe VIC
About the role
Support Worker required to assist with transport to and from fortnightly hydrotherapy sessions. Sessions are supervised by a physiotherapist.
You will also take him to get something to eat either before or after each session.
Supervision with personal care required but not direct assistance.
He is ambulatory. No manual handling.
This is a great opportunity to support a young person with CP.
Ideal for a person with an interest and background in supporting children to thrive.
About our client
Our client is a 10-year-old boy with Cerebral Palsy, living with his family in Moe. He is energetic, loves to have a chat, loves music and the occasional Macca's Meal.
Shifts
Tuesdays from 3:30pm - 6:30pm
About you
You must have a licence and roadworthy, reliable, registered vehicle and if you are comfortable to get into the pool and support him during his hydrotherapy sessions that would be great.
Compliance requirements
You will have or be willing to obtain the following documentation to work with CPSN:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
Current First Aid certificate
Current CPR certificate
2 references from prior and/or current employers
Certificate Ill or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
